The VSR range in figures

The VERSO VSR is a heavy-duty, fully automatic CNC digital cutting table, designed and controlled by VERSO CNC (controller, firmware and VERSOCAM software developed in-house). The range includes 4 models, from 2050 x 1050 mm (VS2010R) to 2050 x 4050 mm (VS2040R) working area. All share the same welded, stabilised and ground steel frame, a 9 kW ISO30 milling spindle (2,000 to 24,000 rpm), the UTM Universal Tangential Module and a mixed automatic tool changer with up to 24 positions.

Performance

Milling performance examples

Values measured on a VERSO VSR and published in the manufacturer brochure.

MaterialThicknessPassesFeed rate
Okoumé plywood22 mm112,500 mm/min
Cast PMMA (simple cutter, no finishing)10 mm13,500 mm/min
Bloc-LED30 mm13,500 mm/min

Constant 0.2 mm engraving depth on cast PMMA of irregular thickness (measured from 9.52 to 10.44 mm), thanks to automatic sheet probing beforehand. Drilling and tapping performed automatically by the UTM.

Frequently asked questions

VSR technical FAQ

A 400 V three-phase + neutral + ground supply, protected by a 40 A C-curve circuit breaker and a 300 mA residual current device. The machine is connected with a flexible 5G10 cable with crimped ferrules.

Dry air at 8 to 10 bar, with a minimum flow of 350 l/min. The machine connector is ISO6150 standard.

The VS2010R (2050 x 1050 mm working area) is the compact model of the range: its maximum speed is 35,000 mm/min and its resolution 2.5 µm. The VS2020R, VS2030R and VS2040R reach 74,000 mm/min with a 5 µm resolution. These speeds require a safety device connected to the machine's emergency-stop loop; without it, speed is limited to 30,000 mm/min.

The VERSOCAM software imports dxf, ai, plt, pdf, HPGL, SVG, EPS, PS and STEP files.

Yes. The base hardware configuration of the VSR supports all VERSOCAM software options (UTM, ATC, camera, controlled vacuum table, sheet probing, cutter diameter probing). They can be activated at any time without any hardware modification of the machine.
